Brett
Deverall and Camilla Baker, executive chefs with over
40 years experience between them, have matched their
skills to create Sydney Corporate Catering.
Sydney Corporate Catering located at
73 Military Road, Neutral Bay is where Brett and Camilla
have decided to combine their talents and create a catering
menu using the finest local produce available to deliver
fresh, vibrant home cooked meals to the local area in
a variety of styles from your next boardroom meeting
to your next cocktail party.

Brett Deverall
Brett Deverall trained in London
and Paris for 3 years before working for Le Manoir
aux Quat Saisons under renowned chef, Raymond Blanc.
On returning to Sydney Brett has been executive chef
in some of Sydney’s best restaurants including Mezzaluna
before moving to Sails on Lavender Bay.
Brett has been a part time Commercial Cookery Teacher
at TAFE NSW since 2002. He also runs a large central
kitchen that supplies 7 restaurants around Sydney
and trains staff in new dishes to ensure consistency
and quality throughout the restaurants and catering
business.
On the demonstration front Brett
was selected by Nokia to produce a menu to compliment
the launch of 5 new mobile phones. Flown to the Malaysian
Hilton Hotel, he not only had to oversee his menu
for 800 guest, he was also required to address the
guests and talk about the creation of each course.

Camilla Baker
Camilla Baker has worked as a professional
chef for 18 years. Her love of cooking originally
began as a teenager helping her parents run a bed
and breakfast in Tasmania. Camilla trained in Tasmania
and in 1994 became Apprentice of the Year.
Camilla then worked her way up the East coast of Australia
from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast increasing her
knowledge of food in a variety of establishments from
fine dining to casual cafes and Hotels including the
Sheraton Noosa Resort, Marchetti’s Tuscan Grill and
Zest in Food.
The world then called. Camilla worked in London and
Edinburgh in the UK, Florence in Italy and Chicago
in the USA. Her CV includes stints in Terence Conran’s
Great Eastern Hotel in London (now called Andaz) as
well as Campagnola and Union Pizzeria in Chicago where
she catered for a variety of functions.
Now settled in Sydney, Camilla regularly writes about
food and cooking for families in her spare time. Her
